The aim of the course is to introduce students of the first year of studies to the basic concepts and categories of the history of state and law, which were formulated by the majority of countries in the ancient world and by particular states in the medieval and modern times, as well as to make them aware of the general and specific traits of genesis, development and functioning of state and law.
